No! Although we got our start in the industry over 70 years ago as a dealer in sports equipment and uniforms, we will work with ANYONE who needs custom apparel – small businesses, bridal parties, family reunions, etc. Be sure to check the Shop and Product Catalog portions of our website to see the wide variety of apparel we offer.

We specialize in screen printing, heat transfer vinyl, tackle twill, and embroidery, and we do all of our production in-house! Our sales associates will work with you to determine what decoration method will best suit your needs!

Yes! We offer a wide variety of specialty prints for your custom apparel including: glitter, glow in the dark ink, reflective and metallic film, full-color digital print and cut transfers, screen printing with halftones, soft-hand inks, and dye blocker film. Contact a sales associate if you are looking for any of these specialty prints for your custom apparel order.

Yes! Factory sublimation is a popular choice, especially for athletic uniforms. We work with very reputable vendors who manufacture in the USA. This ensures quality products, customer service, and a shorter turnaround time to help get your team game-ready as soon as possible!

We can print on so much more than just T-shirts!  We offer apparel ranging in styles from athletic to fashion and in sizes from infant to adult, including jackets, hats, bags, blankets and so much more! Ask one of our sales representatives for more about what you can order from us.

We have graphic artists working in-house to develop your ideas into spectacular artworks. Let us know what you are thinking and we will work with you to bring it to life! New print designs require a one-time $25 vector fee. New embroidery designs require a $50 digitize fee.  These fees are subject to change depending on the complexity of your logo.

Great! Please email it to us. Ideally, we would like print ready artwork in the form of a vector file (.ai or .eps), but a high-resolution image (.jpeg or .pdf) will also be sufficient. Embroidery files require a .dst format. Once our team can see your artwork/logo we can better assess which method of production will be best suited to create an amazing result. If your supplied artwork is not print or embroidery ready it is subject to the aforementioned fees. 

We suggest washing your garments in warm water with a mild, non-phosphorous detergent, and hanging them to air dry. DO NOT PUT IN THE DRYER. Heat from clothes dryers will cause custom decoration to soften, crack, stick to itself or another garment, and come off prematurely. It is also bad for many fabrics. Do not dry clean or iron. Avoid using fabric softeners. 

Because we are a member of the strongest buying group in the industry, we have access to the most manufacturers at the lowest buying level. We are able to offer options at a range of price points, from tried-and-true basics like Gildan and Sport-Tek, to fashionable apparel from Holloway, Badger, and Pennant Sportswear, to name brands such as Under Armour and Adidas.  Let us know if you have a preference of one of our vendors when you place an order.

Yes. These vendors typically provide better quality fabrics, sublimation inks, stronger sewn seams, faster turnaround times, and excellent customer service. We specifically recommend Brute (Sinking Springs, PA), Speedline (Tampa, FL), and Action (Morganton, NC). Your made in the USA uniform pattern is never discontinued and you can fill-in year after year with consistent dye lots and sizing.

Zappia Athletic Products specializes in creating an online store for your event/organization or sports team.  We do not subcontract any aspect of online ordering, from store creation to sorting items by individual order. This ensures accuracy, faster turnaround, and better customer service. We handle collecting payment and can also deliver individual orders! We offer a wide variety of styles and garments all adorned with your logo. You can even turn your online store into a fundraiser – ask us how! 

Lots! Whether you are an athletic director, run a little league or pee wee program, a recreational team or just want some equipment for your favorite player – we may have what you are looking for.  The name Zappia and athletic products have been synonymous in the Southern Tier since the 1940’s. We specialize in equipment for baseball, softball, football, and basketball in addition to offering a variety of items for other sports. 

There is a $25.00 minimum requirement for all custom orders. Certain production methods have minimum quantities in order to keep our prices competitive. If you are interested in screen printing, please note there is a 12 piece minimum order – but the more you order the less expensive each piece becomes. We can still accommodate smaller runs but they will be produced with heat transfer. Our embroidery does not have a minimum quantity requirement. However, like screen printing, larger orders are more cost effective. 

Yes!  This is a fun option offered by Zappia Athletic Products. Please contact our store to learn how we can bring CUSTOM MADE SHIRTS directly to your event! It is a great idea for festivals, sports tournaments and anything that draws a crowd.  **Subject to exclusions so please contact us for more information. **

This is usually assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on the garment style, fabric, and lettering requested. Zappia Athletic Products, Inc. is not responsible for replacing any customer supplied garments that are damaged during the production process. A document must be signed by the customer accepting these terms.
